[P]After reviewing the materials, Upwords informed Neutroplast that it had found 16 linguistic and 9 translation mistakes.
Neutroplast wanted to understand the impact of this, given the unusually low lead conversion ratio versus catalogues taken from their stand at the CPhI Worldwide trade fair.
After following up with their leads, Neutroplast learned that most of them thought the catalogues were unprofessional, which raised suspicion regarding Neutroplast’s quality, ultimately leading them to choose another provider.

Neutroplast had hired a fast and cheap online translation company, which apparently did not use specialised native speakers or proofread their work by a second native speaker.
Result:
€6,000 invested in catalogues resulted not only in an investment loss, but also potentially several thousand euros in packaging orders.
